Summary:

The ERP Specialist is responsible for providing support to users of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. This includes troubleshooting problems, maintaining system data and configurations, providing training, and helping users to understand best practices for using the ERP system. The ideal candidate will have background in one of the ERP system areas - Finance, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, Timekeeping and Scheduling, or Information Systems - and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

The Specialist should possess the healthcare knowledge and computer systems experience to implement low to medium complexity assignments with minimal guidance.

Responsibilities:

  • Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Provide on-site support to users of the ERP System.
  • Support managers in business process improvements, implementing best practices and fully utilizing ERP system capabilities.
  • Support administration of ERP security and permissions for ERP users.
  • Collaborate with ERP Analysts, Developers and IT teams to test ERP modules.
  • Identify and record system issues.
  • Ensure the ERP system meets business requirements and goals and fulfills user requirements.
  • Assist with training and instructing users with respect to their specific day-to-day problems.
  • Demonstrate solid understanding of Finance Supply Chain Management, Human Resource management or Timekeeping and Scheduling functions.
  • Collaborate and build proactive, positive relations with peers, managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure that consistency within defined processes is maintained; help determine best practices; and work efficiently.
  • Ability to work with aggressive timelines in a team environment with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Document issues and resolutions for future reference; help create and maintain FAQ. Update educational job aides and training material as needed.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service, communication and human relationship skills when dealing with customers, fellow associates, and vendors.
  • Produce required department reporting associated with support, projects and problems assigned.
  • Follow established policies, procedures and standards defined by the department. Participate in the development and documentation of procedures for day-to-day tasks within assigned areas of support and maintenance, including the development of processes and procedures for other teams.
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn and support new technologies through e-learning, self-study, and peer training/studies.
  • Assist other ERP teams by providing second level support and guidance.
  • Travel is required to perform some job functions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management or designee.

Job Requirements:

Education/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred
  • Basis degree of technical knowledge to understand the environment

Experience

  • One year related experience in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, or Information Systems support preferred
  • ERP Cloud-Suite technical support preferred

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

  • None required

Work Schedule:

8AM - 5PM Monday-Friday
