ERP PROGRAM MANAGER
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
The ERP Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery and operation of the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform, ensuring work progresses effectively across IT, Finance, and external partners.
This role provides coordination and structure across all D365 activities, ensuring that requests are appropriately scoped, prioritized, delivered, and embedded into business operations in a controlled and consistent manner.
The role acts as the central point of coordination between business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and the external D365 system integration partner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Coordination and Delivery Oversight
  • Oversee the end-to-end flow of work across the D365 platform, from intake through to delivery and release
  • Coordinate activities across IT, Finance stakeholders, and external D365 partner resources
  • Monitor progress of work items and ensure timely delivery against agreed priorities
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the program

Operating Cadence and Governance
  • Lead the regular delivery cadence, including stand-ups, delivery reviews, and backlog sessions
  • Ensure meetings are structured, effective, and result in clear actions and progress
  • Support and uphold the defined operating model, including intake, prioritization, and governance processes
  • Maintain visibility of all active work through the agreed system of record (e.g., Planner)

Change Management and Release Coordination
  • Ensure IT change management processes are followed for all system changes
  • Coordinate release activities across IT and external partners to ensure controlled deployment into production
  • Oversee readiness for changes, including alignment with business users, training needs, and communication requirements
  • Ensure that changes are delivered in a way that minimizes disruption to business operations

Backlog and Workflow Management
  • Work closely with the Business Analyst to ensure all work items are properly defined, scoped, and ready for delivery
  • Maintain oversight of backlog health, ensuring items are progressing and appropriately prioritized
  • Ensure that new requests are triaged and routed through the correct process
  • Partner Coordination (External SI)
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities of the external D365 system integration partner
  • Ensure clear understanding of scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Monitor delivery performance and escalate issues where required
  • Support a collaborative working relationship between internal teams and the partner

Business Engagement and Alignment
  • Work with Finance SMEs and stakeholders to ensure alignment between delivery activities and business priorities
  • Ensure that business input is incorporated into planning, testing, and release activities
  • Support prioritization discussions by providing visibility of delivery capacity and progress

Reporting and Communication
  • Provide regular reporting on program status, including progress, risks, and key metrics
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across IT, Finance, and leadership stakeholders
  • Support transparency of D365 activities, ensuring stakeholders have appropriate visibility of work and outcomes

Key Relationships
  • ERP Product Owner - overall governance, prioritization, and roadmap
  • Finance Business Stakeholders and SMEs - business process ownership and prioritization input
  • Business Systems Analyst - detailed scoping and definition of work items
  • D365 System Administrator - platform operations, security, and configuration
  • IT Platform Teams (M365 / Integration) - environment, security, and integration alignment
  • External D365 System Integration Partner - delivery, development, and solution support

Key Outcomes
  • Success in this role is measured by:
  • Work is progressing consistently and predictably across the D365 platform
  • Backlog is actively managed, with clear prioritization and visibility
  • Changes are delivered in a controlled manner, following agreed IT and business processes
  • Strong coordination exists between IT, Finance, and the external partner
  • Stakeholders have confidence in the transparency, structure, and effectiveness of the D365 operating model

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • None

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience managing complex system delivery or ERP programs
  • Experience managing D365 Finance and Operations module is required
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills across business and IT
  • Experience working with third-party vendors or system integrators
  • Structured, process-oriented approach to delivery and governance
  • Ability to operate across both technical and business environments without needing to be a technical specialist

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Program / Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP)
  • Agile or delivery certifications (e.g., PMI-ACP, Scrum, SAFe)
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications aligned to core systems

SALARY:
  • Hiring Range: $105,876 - $126,990.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical environment is typical of a standard office space. It requires the employee to work inside for the duration of work.
