Aerospace Project ManagerOverview

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead aerospace manufacturing and engineering programs from project launch through final delivery. This role is responsible for managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and customer expectations while coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead aerospace projects from kickoff through production readiness and customer acceptance.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and operations teams.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet customer requirements, quality standards, and contractual commitments.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track project costs, forecasts, and overall financial performance.
  • Support sourcing and supplier coordination activities to maintain project timelines and budgets.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project status updates to leadership and customers.
  • Maintain project documentation, action items, lessons learned, and reporting requirements.
  • Drive problem resolution and decision-making to support successful program execution.
  • Support installation, integration, testing, and delivery activities as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of project management experience within aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, defense, or industrial environments.
  • Experience managing technical programs involving engineering and production teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Experience working directly with customers and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting aerospace manufacturing, tooling, structures, systems integration, or production programs.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, CAD systems, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience coordinating supplier deliverables and subcontracted work.
  • Understanding of configuration management and engineering change processes.
  • Experience with project financial tracking, forecasting, and earned value principles.
  • Exposure to defense, government, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bothell, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $90.00/hr.
