Job description

This role is responsible for the configuration, provisioning, security, and maintenance of Oracle Cloud environments across all modules (FIN, SCM, HCM). The individual will ensure secure, efficient, and compliant Oracle Cloud operations through the implementation of best practices in environment management and security controls. 

Essential Duties and Job Functions 

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the provisioning, maintenance, and refresh of Oracle Cloud environments across all project phases (e.g., development, testing, production). 
  • Define and implement an environment usage plan that aligns with the overall project timeline and Oracle implementation methodology. 
  • Coordinate with Oracle Cloud Operations and Customer Success Managers for environment updates, patches, and clone activities. 
  • Track configuration progress and data setup milestones to ensure environments are ready for RICEW development and testing. 
  • Oversee integration activities during cutover and go-live, ensuring a stable and secure production landscape. 
  • Administer user access, role provisioning, and segregation of duties across Oracle Cloud applications (FIN, SCM, HCM). 
  • Establish and enforce security controls, including audit trails, role-based access controls (RBAC), and least privilege models. 
  • Continuously monitor application and environment security for vulnerabilities and compliance with organizational policies. 
  • Support internal and external audits by managing access logs, control documentation, and remediation follow-ups. 
  • Manage and maintain folder structures and access controls for reporting tools such as FDI, OTBI, and BI Publisher. 
  • Ensure appropriate security configuration for reporting layers, including role-based data access and segregation by business unit or legal entity. 
  • Provision and maintain secure access for integration users, including SFTP, SSH keys, and service accounts. 
  • Configure and troubleshoot Oracle PaaS/SaaS technical components related to security, integrations, and environment performance. 
  • Collaborate with IT, functional leads, and external partners to align environment and security practices with business needs. 
  • Stay current with Oracle Cloud security updates, new features, and best practices to enhance protection and compliance posture. 

Qualifications 

  • 4+ years of combined experience in ERP environment and security administration (preferably in Oracle). 
  • BS/BA degree in IT or related field, or equivalent work experience. 
  • Hands-on experience in ERP cloud architecture (Oracle preferred). 
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC). 
  • Demonstrated capability to assess complex system and data security needs. 
  • Experience in environment lifecycle management, cloud provisioning, and data protection. 
  • Certifications in cloud architecture or Oracle Security preferred. 

Skills and Attributes 

  • Proficiency in Oracle PaaS & SaaS security and environment configuration. Oracle Fusion Certifications preferred.
  • Effective communicator with both technical teams and business stakeholders. 
  • Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
