As a Physical Therapist at Ernest Physical Therapy, your primary duties will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' needs and medical histories to develop effective, individualized treatment plans.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions in accordance with physicians' orders and evaluating the effectiveness of treatment protocols.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to achieve optimal patient outcomes while building strong therapeutic relationships.
• Providing education and training to patients and their caregivers regarding home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and progress to comply with industry standards and promote continuity of care.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance service delivery and address any patient concerns comprehensively.

Our clinic serves a diverse range of patients, from athletes recovering from sports injuries to children with developmental challenges and adults managing chronic pain. To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid and active Physical Therapy License in the state of Virginia.
• A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Proficiency with computer systems and electronic health records.

Ideal candidates will have previous experience in outpatient physical therapy settings, especially dealing with orthopedic, pediatric, and neurologic cases. Familiarity with therapeutic techniques and hands-on approaches that promote functional movement is highly desirable. A demonstrated ability to foster positive patient relationships and exceed functional goals is essential.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, we provide:
