Position Summary:

Brand Manager - Spirits

Job Summary:

Oversee dedicated categorys brand marketing, working hand and hand with our supplier partners to ensure that our route to market and branding decisions lead to increased sales.

Superior Supplier Relations

  • Regularly work with suppliers

  • Create internal sales materials to best represent the products

  • Develop programming to best position our products in the market

  • Maintain the pricing file

  • Develop incentive programs

  • W&S Supplier Visits: Help with facilitating and seeing to the success of supplier market visits.

  • Work with Sales Directors on supplier visits to determine territory ride along assignments that will generate the most success

  • Make sure samples are pulled where they need to be & that they get to the rep

  • Have POS/Sell Sheets/Pricing available

  • Help generate and activate evening consumer events

  • Send pre-email with schedule and associated information

Inventory & Pricing Management

  • Constantly monitor brand inventory with the forecasting team weekly meeting & daily communication

  • Solve customer problems to the mutual benefit of both the customer and ERDC

  • Oversee all specialty items allocation programs

Internal Collaboration

  • Directly collaborates with Sales Directors to develop effective marketing and sales strategic plans to maximize wine and spirits distribution within an established or growing customer base.

  • Communicate all incentives, programs and new launches to the sales team through sales meetings and postings on Teams.

  • Analyze reports daily, weekly and monthly basis to identify potential growth areas, capture market share, identify trends, monitor depletions, and make recommendations to Sales Directors.

  • Developing Brand Focus: Annually, quarterly, monthly initiatives to build brands in market

  • Monthly Internal Planning Meetings

  • Annual Business Planning Meetings with suppliers

  • Consolidating the information and putting the plan in place for the following year

  • Maintain Eagle Rock Portfolio Book

  • AR: Overseeing that assigned suppliers outstanding AR

Portfolio Management

  • Analyzes current markets identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.

  • New Product Evaluation

  • New Supplier On-Boarding

  • Creative programs

  • Supplier interaction weekly

  • Inputting sample requests

  • Instore Tastings Schedule

In Market Presence

  • Hit required days in the market per month

  • Ensure Brand standards consistently marketed

  • Special Event coordination and execution

  • Develops creative and effective sell through strategies after new brand placement.
