Job description

About the Company

Our client is a vertically integrated aerospace and defense precision manufacturer with a multi-decade track record supplying mission-critical, high-tolerance machined hardware, large complex assemblies, and finished components to leading aerospace, space, and defense customers. Now backed by a global private-equity firm, the company is executing an ambitious growth and operational-excellence agenda and is investing in its people, systems, and capacity. This search is being conducted on a confidential basis. The hiring company’s identity will be shared with qualified candidates during the interview process.

Position Summary

The Epicor ERP Analyst is the functional and technical owner of the Company’s Epicor (Kinetic) platform. This role configures, supports, and continuously improves Epicor across finance, supply chain, and manufacturing—translating business needs into ERP solutions, building reports and customizations, and driving adoption. It is a high-impact opportunity to shape the system of record for a growing aerospace and defense manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator and subject-matter expert for Epicor (Kinetic), spanning finance, inventory, purchasing, production, scheduling, and quality modules.
  • Gather requirements from business stakeholders and configure Epicor to support manufacturing and financial processes.
  • Build and maintain BAQs, BPMs, dashboards, reports (SSRS / Epicor reporting), and functions / customizations.
  • Manage data integrity, integrations, and interfaces between Epicor and other business systems.
  • Lead testing, upgrades, patching, and deployment of new Epicor functionality.
  • Develop documentation, training, and end-user support to drive adoption and standardization.
  • Partner with finance and operations on cost accounting, BOM/routing, MRP, and shop-floor data accuracy.
  • Support ERP-related controls and data handling consistent with ITAR and CMMC requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Epicor ERP experience (ERP 10 / Kinetic) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency building BAQs, BPMs, dashboards, and SSRS / Epicor reports.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (BOM, routing, MRP, scheduling) and cost accounting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Aerospace & defense or other complex / regulated manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with Epicor upgrades or implementations.
  • SQL, .NET, REST/API, or Epicor Functions experience.
  • Familiarity with ITAR/EAR and CMMC data-handling considerations.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range of $160,000 – $190,000, commensurate with experience, plus medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), and paid time off. The posted range reflects the anticipated base pay for this role in California; actual compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

Work Authorization & Eligibility

This position supports ITAR- and EAR-controlled programs. Applicants must be a “U.S. Person” as defined under 22 CFR §120.62 (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual). The facility is access-controlled and the role is subject to a background check and, for certain programs, eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance.

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected-veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
