Job description

We're hiring an Epicor ERP SME (subject matter expert)!Join our team and help improve system performance, data integrity, processes, and user adoption. This is a hands-on role for an Epicor generalist who can understand business needs and guide users toward effective ERP solutions.
What You'll Do
  • Serve as the Epicor SME across manufacturing, finance, shop floor, inventory, purchasing, and related functions.
  • Support and optimize Discrete Manufacturing and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) processes.
  • Troubleshoot Epicor issues and improve manufacturing, MRP, scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and month-end workflows.
  • Manage data validation, BOM structures, cycle counts, and system data integrity.
  • Translate business requirements into practical system and user interface (UI) solutions.
  • Create documentation, SOPs, and training to improve user adoption.
  • Support future Epicor enhancements, modules, and system upgrades.

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of hands-on Epicor ERP experience in manufacturing.
  • Broad Epicor knowledge across manufacturing, finance, shop floor, inventory, and purchasing.
  • Experience with Discrete Manufacturing and/or ETO environments.
  • Strong understanding of ERP data, user interfaces, and requirements gathering.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing/MRP, BOMs, inventory, scheduling, and accounting processes.
  • Strong Excel skills and basic SQL scripting knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with end users and serve as a trusted Epicor SME.
