Registered Nurse Job Requirements

  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Experience with Epic charting required
  • Ability to float as needed
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and teamwork in a surgical environment
Outpatient Surgery RN Responsibilities
  • Circulate and support outpatient surgical cases with attention to safety, efficiency, and patient-centered care
  • Serve as an integral part of a multispecialty operating room team
  • Assume responsibility for management of the operating room assigned
  • Support scrub duties as needed and contribute to smooth case flow
  • Maintain sterile technique and follow all operating room protocols and universal safety practices
  • Document accurately in Epic and communicate effectively with the perioperative team
  • Assist in preparing patients of varying ages, including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
  • Adapt to a busy outpatient surgical schedule while maintaining high standards of patient care
