Job Description Summary
In the role as a HL7 Integration Engineer for GE Healthcare, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of our CARESCAPE Gateway products. In this role you will support the installation, testing, and provide technical support. You will be required to work on multiple projects at any given time, as well as support occasional after hours go-live events. HL7 Integration Engineer should hold a Cloverleaf Level 1 certification and should be proficient in Windows and Linus operating systems.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Lead the integration of GE Healthcare products into various hospitals IT systems
  • Design, configure, implement, and test a variety of HL7 interfaces
  • Required to work on multiple projects, lasting a few weeks to an unlimited duration
  • Ability to support customers in all time zones as well as occasional after hour go-lives and support issues
  • Self-starter who is motivated to work efficiently and effectively from home office
  • Willingness to work with external customers throughout the project life cycle
  • Develop or improve tools, processes, or products, including service offerings
  • Provide innovation for the improvement of current products and processes
  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

Required Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Information Technology, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years HL7 experience
  • Cloverleaf Level 1 Certification
  • Experience with vendor integration to Cerner / Epic / Meditech
  • Experience with ADT interfaces
  • Proficient in Windows and Linus operating systems

Desired Qualifications:
  • Cloverleaf Level 2 or 3 Certification
  • Experience working with SQL Database
  • VM Integration knowledge is desired
  • Familiarity with GE Healthcare Patient Care Solution products

In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
