Epic Principal TrainerOverview
We are seeking an experienced Epic Principal Trainer to support enterprise training initiatives across Epic applications, including Epic Wisdom, Resolute HB/PB/SBO, HIM/Identity, MyChart, and Cogito. This role will partner with the IS Education team to develop and maintain training curricula, support Epic implementations and upgrades, facilitate end-user education, and drive training excellence across the organization.
This is primarily a remote position with occasional onsite travel as needed for project-specific activities.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, update, and maintain Epic training curricula, course materials, and learning content.
  • Support training efforts for Epic Wisdom implementations, billing workflows, Epic upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
  • Deliver instructor-led and virtual training sessions for end users, super users, and operational teams.
  • Facilitate Super User meetings and provide ongoing training support.
  • Collaborate with application teams and participate in project, operational, and application-related meetings.
  • Provide end-user support and guidance related to Epic workflows and training needs.
  • Assist with training documentation, learning plans, and knowledge management activities.
  • Support learning management and training administration functions.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience as an Epic Principal Trainer supporting healthcare IT training programs.
  • Hands-on experience supporting one or more of the following Epic applications:
    • Epic Wisdom
    • Resolute Hospital Billing (HB)
    • Resolute Professional Billing (PB)
    • Single Billing Office (SBO)
    • HIM/Identity
    • MyChart
    • Cogito
  • Experience developing and maintaining training curricula and educational materials.
  • Experience supporting Epic implementation, upgrade, and optimization training initiatives.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Articulate 360.
  • Experience with Cornerstone Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Experience with uPerform.
  • Experience supporting Epic Wisdom billing implementation training.
  • Healthcare operations or clinical systems training experience.
