Visage PACS Trainer (Clinical Experience Required)
Position Overview
Impulse Strategic Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Visage PACS Trainer with clinical experience to support radiology imaging initiatives and end-user adoption efforts within healthcare environments. This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs to radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff, ensuring effective utilization of the Visage PACS platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background combined with hands-on experience in PACS systems, enabling them to translate technical functionality into practical, workflow-driven training.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver role-based training for Visage PACS users, including radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff
  • Conduct instructor-led training sessions, hands-on labs, and one-on-one coaching
  • Translate clinical workflows into PACS training content and system navigation guidance
  • Support workflow optimization by aligning Visage functionality with clinical best practices
  • Assist with training environment validation and system readiness activities
  • Create and maintain training materials, quick reference guides, and job aids
  • Provide at-the-elbow (ATE) support during go-live and post-go-live phases
  • Collaborate with PACS administrators, IT teams, and clinical leadership to ensure training alignment
  • Gather user feedback and support continuous improvement of training programs
  • Track training attendance and measure end-user readiness and adoption

Requirements
  • Clinical background required (Radiologic Technologist, Imaging Specialist, or similar)
  • 3+ years of experience working with PACS systems with Visage PACS
  • Strong understanding of radiology workflows (CT, MRI, X-ray, Ultrasound, etc.)
  • Experience delivering end-user training in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of DICOM standards and imaging workflows
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly training content

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with Visage PACS implementations or upgrades
  • Experience supporting PACS go-live or optimization projects
  • Familiarity with RIS, VNA, and radiology reporting workflows
  • Experience with Epic Radiant or other integrated EHR imaging modules
  • Background in workflow analysis or clinical informatics
