Please note: This is a seasonal position expected to be available through September 1st. After that date, the role may be discontinued depending on operational needs and business demands.

Candidate must be culturally authentic to the country of Mexico and be able to communicate and explain Mexican history, customs, traditions, and culture to guests based on first-hand, personal experience.

The primary responsibility of a Server is to lead restaurant guests through the dining experience. In order to be successful, a Server must have a high degree of knowledge of all food and beverage items being served, be able to speak confidently and politely to all guests, be able to read and provide for the wants and needs of each individual guest, and be able to prioritize tasks in order to work in an efficient and organized manner.

Work Duties

  • Prepare assigned table section for guest arrival
  • Know and be able to explain all food and beverage items on the menus
  • Know and be able to explain any featured items or specials
  • Politely greet guests in a timely fashion
  • Lead guests through the restaurant menus and make appropriate menu suggestions
  • Suggestively sell and upsell menu items as appropriate
  • Answer any guest questions as necessary
  • Ring guest orders accurately into the POS system
  • Deliver each course to the guests in a timely fashion
  • Observe proper service procedures when serving food and beverage items
  • Follow up with guests at appropriate times to ensure satisfaction and refill beverages
  • Clear tables of unnecessary items at appropriate times
  • Process guest payments accurately and quickly following company cash handling procedures
  • Complete all assigned opening and closing duties
  • Display proper food safety procedures at all times
  • Follow all necessary laws and processes for the safe service of alcohol
  • Work closely with all other team members and display good teamwork
  • Follow the Disney 5-Keys Basics, Service Basics and Company Guidelines at all times
  • All other tasks as assigned
