Make a Meaningful Difference—Right From the Office
Amedisys Hospice in Blackstone, VA is seeking a compassionate, detail‑oriented volunteer to support our team with light administrative projects that directly impact the quality of care we provide to our patients and families.
This behind‑the‑scenes role is perfect for someone who enjoys organization, clerical work, and contributing to a mission-driven team environment.
Volunteer Responsibilities
As an Office Support Volunteer, you may assist with:
- Sorting and updating our Contracts Binder
- Reviewing and updating information in our records and documentation systems
- Contacting facilities to request updated information (phone or email)
- Helping with small office projects as needed (organizing materials, preparing packets, filing, etc.)
All tasks are meaningful contributions that help our clinical team stay organized and focused on patient care.
What We’re Looking For
- A friendly and reliable individual with attention to detail
- Comfortable making brief, professional phone calls
- Organized and able to work independently after direction
- Willing to support a hospice mission with professionalism and compassion
- No experience required — training is provided!
