Travel: Up to 50% travel required for customer visits and new product launch support

SSW Advanced Technologies is a leading global provider of advanced HVAC components and technologies, supporting OEM customers with innovative, high‑quality solutions. As we continue to expand our operations and refine our program management structure, we are seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to support major RFQ and NPI initiatives across multiple sites.
Position Overview
The Program Manager will serve as the central point of oversight for Priority RFQs and NPI programs, facilitating communication between executive leadership, project teams, and customers. This role is ideal for a structured, technically-savvy leader experienced in multi-site program coordination within a manufacturing or HVAC environment.
This position requires strong cross-functional leadership skills, significant customer-facing interaction, and the ability to travel up to 50%, including to customer sites and SSW facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Oversight & Reporting
  • Lead corporate oversight during RFQ and NPI phases for Priority projects.
  • Provide weekly updates to the President & CEO, including KPIs, risks, milestones, and status changes.
  • Communicate executive direction to all relevant project teams and stakeholders.
Project Governance & Internal Cadence
  • Schedule and lead recurring meetings with Project Managers to review updates, risks, KPIs, and changes.
  • Serve as the escalation point for risks unresolved at the project team level.
  • Support Project Managers with risk mitigation strategies and schedule compression when necessary.
  • Facilitate cross-site lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
Program & Project Tracking
  • Maintain and update:
    • Projects Master Tracker
    • RFQ Tracker
    • Monthly Program/Project Launch Schedule (including developing this new process)
  • Monitor KPIs associated with RFQ Intake and NPI phases.
RFQ & NPI Intake Process Ownership
  • Build, maintain, and communicate company-wide NPI and RFQ Intake processes, standards, and tools, including:
    • WBS + RACI templates
    • Workflows
    • Stage-gate checklists
    • Project workbook templates
    • Project file repositories
  • Record incoming RFQs from Sales and assign site ownership; request executive confirmation when needed.
Program Management for Multi-Site OEM Programs
For programs involving multiple SSW facilities supporting a single OEM:
  • Consolidate project updates from site-level PMs into a unified program roll-up.
  • Own and maintain the integrated Program Schedule (Gantt).
  • Manage and communicate the program-level Action Tracker with the customer’s single point of contact.
  • Lead customer-facing NPI kickoff and program review meetings.
  • Conduct internal program review meetings across all site PMs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field.
  • 5+ years of program/project management experience in HVAC, manufacturing, or a technical product environment.
  • Strong knowledge of NPI, RFQ processes, and stage‑gate project management.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project scheduling tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.).
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous programs across global teams.
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a significant plus.
  • Candidates based in the state of Texas will be given preference due to proximity to key customer and site locations.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for customer visits, new product launches, and coordination with SSW facilities.
