Responsibilities:

Join the team at Lincoln County Medical Center in beautiful Ruidoso, New Mexico! This dynamic role supports the Area Supervisor in overseeing daily housekeeping operations and steps in for the Housekeeping Manager when needed. You'll also take on handson housekeeping duties, ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leadership, teamwork, and keeping things running smoothly in a fastpaced setting.

  • Assist in implementing established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
  • Inspect and survey for compliance with departmental housekeeping and cleanliness standards with proper documentation.
  • Assist Environmental Service Supervisor with staff assignments and work scheduling.
  • Provide input for Environmental Service staff evaluations, as needed.
  • Demonstrate component and safe use of cleaning materials/equipment, and explains methods of cleaning to ensure the most efficient and economical use of materials and staff.
  • Participate in applicable/related educational programs.

Qualifications:

  • High school or G.E.D preferred.
  • One to three years experience in healthcare housekeeping.
  • Good communication skills
