This role offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated casework, advise stakeholders on complex immigration questions, and contribute to a collaborative practice focused on high-quality client service. The ideal candidate is a licensed attorney with strong analytical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:
• Build a deep understanding of client organizations, their industries, and the full range of immigration services provided to support tailored legal guidance.

• Analyze legal issues using applicable statutes, regulations, and precedent to craft practical solutions for unique client circumstances.
• Conduct detailed research on technical immigration questions and prepare accurate supporting documentation for filings and advisory work.
• Present nuanced legal concepts clearly to clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders through written guidance, meetings, and status updates.
• Cultivate strong working relationships with clients and internal teams by providing timely communication, participating in briefings, and delivering thoughtful reporting.
• Mentor entry-level legal professionals and support staff by offering guidance, feedback, and day-to-day oversight on work product and career development.
• Maintain organized files and accurate records while ensuring compliance with firm procedures, data standards, and risk management expectations.
• Contribute to operational excellence by identifying ways to improve consistency, service quality, and efficiency across legal processes.
• Support broader practice growth through participation in client development efforts, cross-selling opportunities, and collaboration with colleagues across offices.

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school.

• Active membership in a U.S. state bar or the Washington, DC bar.

• At least 2 years of attorney-level experience in business immigration law.

• Practical experience handling employment-based immigration and non-immigrant matters.

• Strong legal writing and verbal communication skills, including careful proofreading and clear drafting.

• Excellent analytical thinking and sound problem-solving abilities when addressing complex immigration issues.

• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced client service environment.

• Consistent attention to detail and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to work.
