Job Description
Busy law firm has an immediate need for a full-time Administrative Assistant to support immigration practice. Candidate should have strong communication skills, verbal and written, including experience with e-mail communication in an office/professional environment. The candidate must be dedicated, focused and will be expected to multi-task, prioritize, and manage a high-volume of cases. Candidate will be required to provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals relating to the preparation and filing of immigration petitions and applications.
Job Duties:
  • Scanning, mailing, copying, and other administrative related tasks;
  • Prepare legal correspondence for attorney and paralegal review, including letters, spreadsheets, and reports;
  • Process daily mail, and handle overnight and internal courier packages;
  • Data Entry, including detailed tracking into case management system; and
  • Other administrative duties as requested by attorney or paralegal staff.

Job Requirements:
  • Entry level position, at least one (1) year of administrative experience in a professional office, preferred but not required;
  • BS or BA degree preferred (office or related experience accepted in lieu of degree);
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, ability to work independently and under pressure, and time management skills;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel); and
  • Candidate should be looking to grow in the Administrative field.
