Responsibilities:
  • Perform residential roofing and siding inspections to ensure all work meets company standards and customer expectations
  • Identify, diagnose, and assess roofing systems and siding structures, recommending effective repair or replacement solutions
  • Complete minor roofing and siding repairs, including shingles, flashing, and siding panels
  • Safely climb ladders and work at heights to inspect roofing systems and exterior siding conditions
  • Communicate with customers on-site to explain roofing and siding findings and recommendations
  • Prepare material takeoffs for roofing and siding projects to support ordering and completion
  • Develop and maintain roofing and siding specifications, checklists, and quality standards
  • Conduct roofing system testing in accordance with industry standards, including water intrusion testing, leak detection, and material adhesion checks
  • Ensure all roofing and siding work complies with applicable building codes and regulations
  • Accurately document roofing and siding inspection results, measurements, and repair notes in the company database
  • Identify recurring roofing and siding issues in the field and collaborate with Operations to improve processes and training
  • Address homeowner concerns related to roofing and siding conditions, workmanship, and repairs
  • Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams on project scope, findings, and next steps
Job Qualifications:
  • Preferred, not required: 2+ years of experience working with home construction projects
  • Experience with residential roofing systems
  • Knowledge of vinyl and LP siding
  • Experience with commercial flat roofing is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • PC/Tablet skills for order entry and appointment documentation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to push, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs., and up to 100 lbs. when required for service work
  • Must be comfortable performing work on ladders
  • Ability to work evenings and Saturdays to meet customer demand
