Job description

The Staff Pad is looking to hire a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Marketing Tech Associate who enjoys learning new software, solving problems, and turning ideas into execution.

This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in marketing operations by gaining hands-on experience with AI tools, CRM systems, email marketing platforms, websites, digital content, and marketing technology. You'll work across a variety of projects while learning new platforms and helping ensure every marketing initiative is accurate, organized, and executed at a high standard.

If you enjoy technology, like figuring out new software, and take pride in producing polished work, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Build, test, and schedule email marketing campaigns
  • Update and maintain website content, landing pages, CRM records, ATS records, and digital assets
  • Perform quality assurance by testing links, formatting, mobile responsiveness, personalization, and campaign accuracy before launch
  • Assist with CRM data management, segmentation, reporting, and list maintenance
  • Support marketing automation projects using platforms such as Zapier and AI-powered workflows
  • Organize digital assets, documentation, and marketing resources
  • Research, evaluate, and implement new software and AI tools to improve marketing operations
  • Assist with campaign reporting, dashboards, analytics, and process documentation
  • Help improve workflows and identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks
  • Review marketing assets, presentations, videos, landing pages, and advertisements for accuracy, branding, formatting, and quality
  • Proofread emails, newsletters, website content, and job advertisements before publication
  • Create presentations, documents, graphics, and marketing collateral using Canva and AI-powered tools

What We're Looking For

  • Learns new software quickly and isn't intimidated by unfamiliar technology
  • Enjoys troubleshooting, researching solutions, and figuring things out independently
  • Has exceptional attention to detail and takes pride in delivering accurate, polished work
  • Is highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Is comfortable working with AI tools to improve productivity and quality
  • Enjoys both creative work and the technical side of marketing execution
  • Takes ownership of projects and follows them through to completion
  • Continuously looks for ways to improve efficiency and streamline processes
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change

Technologies You'll Work With

Experience with these tools is helpful but NOT required. We're looking for someone excited to learn.

  • CRM platforms (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce or similar)
  • Email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Constant Contact, Zoho Campaigns)
  • Website CMS platforms (WordPress or similar); Canva
  • AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity)
  • Google Workspace & Microsoft Office
  • Project management software
  • Marketing automation platforms
  • Basic spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets / Excel)

What Will Help You Succeed

You'll enjoy this role if you:

  • Like learning new software simply because you're curious
  • Naturally look for more efficient ways to complete tasks
  • Catch small mistakes before others notice them
  • Enjoy organizing information and improving processes
  • Can switch between creative projects and technical tasks throughout the day
  • Feel comfortable experimenting with new technology and AI tools
  • Prefer building and executing projects over simply brainstorming ideas

Bonus Skills

These are not required, but we'd love to see them:

  • Experience with Canva or Adobe Express
  • Basic HTML or website editing
  • Familiarity with AI prompting
  • Experience creating presentations or documentation
  • Basic knowledge of SEO or Google Analytics
  • Experience managing digital files and content
  • Exposure to automation tools like Zapier or Make

If you're excited to learn emerging technologies, enjoy solving problems, and want to build practical marketing operations experience, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills while making a meaningful impact from day one.
