Craft Recruiter - Entry Level

Golderado Contracting Corporation ("Golderado") supplies skilled labour for construction projects across Canada, primarily in Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, supporting clients such as PME Inc., Silverado Site Services, and EllisDon Industrial.

*** This position is located at our Fort Saskatchewan Office ***

Key Information:

  • Hours: Based on a 40-hour week, Monday-Friday, with overtime as required.
  • Salary is dependent on experience.
  • Health benefits, RRSP, pension plan and and vacation offered.

Job Description:

  • Communicate with the Lead Workforce Coordinator regarding manpower needs.
  • Pre-Screen and organize applicants in our tracking system.
  • Conduct interviews and facilitate on-boarding and orientations as required.
  • Track and maintain safety tickets and records of the employees.
  • Coordinate and register employees into necessary training and re-certifications.
  • General Administrative duties that include but may not be limited to; answering the phone, directing email, and onboarding documents.

Experience and Certification Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years recruiting experience.
  • Experience in Civil Construction is preferred.
  • Must have a basic understanding on computer programs, such as Microsoft Excel, and Google drive.
  • An outgoing and optimistic personality.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, when necessary.
  • A reliable means of transportation is required.
  • Proficient English language skills required.
  • A reliable means of transportation.

Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
