POSITION OVERVIEW:
Dynotec, Inc. is seeking a talented and motivated Structural Designer to join our expanding Structural Engineering department in Columbus, Ohio. This full-time, onsite position offers an excellent opportunity for entry-level to junior professionals to design fundamental and advanced structural systems across a diverse array of target markets. Working closely with senior engineering leadership, you will actively contribute to a variety of buildings.

- Water / Wastewater Treatment Structures
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform detailed structural calculations and design components for Concrete, Structural Steel, and Masonry structures.
- Utilize Autodesk Revit to create accurate 3D structural models, plans, sections, and details.
- Develop a thorough understanding and application of regional building and material codes including ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, and TMS.
- Gain exposure to and utilize structural analysis and design software such as RAM, STAAD Pro, ETABS, and RISA-3D.
- Conduct periodic site visits alongside senior engineers and prepare field observation reports.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Experience: 0 to 3 years of professional or intern experience.
- Software: Proficiency and strong hands-on skills with Autodesk Revit are required.
- Credentials: FE Exam / EIT certification is a significant asset (not mandatory).
