About Creative STEAM Academy

Creative STEAM Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit K–8 private learning center in Laguna Woods, CA. We serve students through small class sizes, hands-on project-based learning, STEAM enrichment, and whole-child support. Our campus is built on creativity, connection, and the belief that education should be as unique as every student we serve.
Position Overview

The Campus Operations Coordinator supports the daily operations, academic systems, staff coordination, family communication, and campus culture of Creative STEAM Academy. Reporting directly to the Educational Director, this is an entry-level management role with real ownership and significant room for growth in school administration and educational leadership.
Responsibilities

Support daily campus operations including schedules, logistics, and school systems. Manage student enrollment, records, and administrative workflows. Coordinate staff schedules, classroom coverage, and substitute logistics. Serve as a primary point of contact for families across email, meetings, and digital platforms. Support behavioral systems, student services, and campus culture. Help maintain compliance with school policies, safety protocols, and educational standards. Identify gaps and help build stronger systems as the school grows.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Operations, Educational Leadership, or a related field. Three or more years of experience in school operations, educational administration, student services, or program coordination. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Clear, warm, and professional communication with students, families, teachers, and leadership. Comfortable with technology, administrative platforms, and school management systems. California educational compliance knowledge or willingness to learn quickly. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Preferred Experience

K–8 or K–12 school environment. Restorative discipline, social-emotional learning, alternative education, or project-based learning. Homeschool, private school, or nonprofit education settings.
