This position requires a working supervisor who actively inspects alongside the team and assists the production department with quality issues. Additionally, the PQC Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that testing procedures are conducted properly, documented accurately, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards. The role also involves close collaboration with the internal quality department and a willingness to work in a cross-functional team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a working supervisor, inspecting products and processes directly with the team and assisting production with quality-related issues.

  • Ensure all testing procedures are conducted properly, with accurate documentation, and collaborate with the internal quality department to uphold quality standards.

  • Provide coaching, guidance, and counseling to associates to foster skill development and improve team performance.

  • Conduct root cause analysis and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions to address quality issues.

  • Oversee inspectors and engineers, managing their development, training, and daily activities, while preparing reports on quality performance and key metrics.

  • Assist the production team in addressing and resolving quality-related issues to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience, preferably in managing inspectors and engineers.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), and Excel.

  • Strong knowledge of production safety, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality control processes.

  • Experience in coaching and counseling associates to improve team dynamics and performance.

  • Expertise in root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions.
