Job description

We are seeking a motivated, entry-level Software Consultant to join our team in a client-facing role with a strong emphasis on data and databases. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working directly with clients, and translating technical concepts into practical business solutions. You will support software implementations, data integrations, and database-related initiatives for a variety of clients.
 
This is a fully onsite opportunity in Baltimore MD 
Salary: $65,000-$75,000/year
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients during onboarding and implementation projects
  • Gather and document client requirements related to data, reporting, and system workflows
  • Assist with configuring software solutions to meet client needs, including database setup and data mapping
  • Perform data imports, exports, cleansing, and validation using SQL and related tools
  • Support database management tasks such as querying, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to resolve issues and deliver solutions
  • Provide training and guidance to clients on system functionality and data best practices
  • Create and maintain clear documentation for processes, configurations, and client environments
  • Troubleshoot client issues and provide timely, professional support
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL, tables, joins, queries)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with non-technical clients
