• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify clients' needs and formulate clinical diagnoses, thus creating effective treatment plans tailored to individual goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions through individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities that resonate with each client's background and mental health journey.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients facing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring that all clients receive timely and effective care.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards for mental health practice.
• Engage collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to treatment.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues and available community resources while advocating for client rights and addressing their unique needs.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in mental health therapy practices through ongoing training and participation in professional development activities.

As a therapist at Genesis Grace Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a diverse clientele that includes adolescents, adults, and families. Our clients come from various backgrounds and face a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. • A valid mental health therapist license (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) is required.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.

• At least two years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating effective use of therapeutic techniques in practice.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster strong therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Dedication to upholding ethical and professional standards in all aspects of practice.

• Previous experience in a clinical setting focused on mental health therapy is advantageous but not strictly necessary for entry-level candidates.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy practices will be highly beneficial in this role.
