Position Overview

Genesis Grace Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to accurately understand clients' concerns and formulate appropriate clinical diagnoses.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and others, based on client preferences and requirements.
• Provide crisis intervention and support for clients facing acute psychological distress, ensuring their safety and well-being during emergencies.
• Maintain thorough client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, while adhering to ethical standards and HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health topics, treatment options, and community resources, providing advocacy when necessary.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in the mental health field and enhance your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes a diverse range of individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. You will work with clients from different ages and backgrounds, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, promoting an inclusive approach to therapy that addresses each client’s unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) is required.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is essential.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic abilities, and proficiency in creating effective treatment strategies.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with colleagues.
• The ability to function effectively both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• A commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards in all aspects of performance and care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience using teletherapy platforms is preferred, enhancing your capability to serve clients effectively in a remote setup.
• Previous work in outpatient settings with a variety of populations can provide an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 85,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We also offer a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Additional benefits include:
