Job description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team . They will be driving around to different rentals in Traverse City fixing various things/completing tasks from a checklist and maintaining our warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, with expertise in handyman fixes. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our short term rentals through proactive maintenance and timely repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various things in short term rental condos and houses
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues/repairs.
  • Utilize breezeway track work orders and maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
  • If unable to make the repair calling a company to come fix it.
  • Use quickbooks to send invoices to our team.
  • Fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs or improvements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in maintenance
  • Strong understanding of maintenance and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform hands-on repairs and installations.
