Producing Siding Team Lead

Indianapolis, IN | Uncapped Commission | Leadership Opportunity | Company-Provided Appointments

Kingdom Roofing Systems is hiring an experienced Producing Siding Team Lead to serve homeowners throughout Central Indiana while helping develop a team of 3–4 siding sales representatives.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a proven home-improvement sales professional with strong siding knowledge who can produce results personally while training, mentoring, and supporting other representatives in the field.

About the Role

As the Producing Siding Team Lead, you will have two primary responsibilities:

  1. Personally sell siding and exterior remodeling projects using our proven in-home sales process.
  2. Train and mentor a team of 3–4 sales representatives, helping them develop the product knowledge, project-scoping skills, and sales expertise required to succeed in siding.

You will lead by example through strong personal production and hands-on field support. This position is ideal for an experienced sales professional who understands siding, enjoys developing others, and is prepared to take ownership of both individual and team performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesPersonal Sales Production
  • Meet with homeowners at pre-scheduled and self-generated appointments
  • Build trust, identify homeowner needs, and present customized siding and exterior remodeling solutions
  • Generate at least $1 million in personal revenue during the first 12 months
  • Meet or exceed required performance standards, including demo rate, close rate, average job size, net sales, and profitability
  • Generate at least one self-sourced lead each week
  • Accurately inspect, measure, and scope siding projects
  • Maintain required pricing and profit margins
  • Keep complete and accurate records in the company CRM
  • Represent Kingdom Roofing Systems with professionalism and integrity
Training and Team Leadership
  • Train and mentor a team of 3–4 siding sales representatives
  • Lead by example through consistent personal production and professional conduct
  • Develop the team's knowledge of siding products, installation requirements, estimating, and project scope
  • Accompany representatives in the field to provide hands-on instruction and coaching
  • Help representatives prepare for and conduct effective in-home sales appointments
  • Coach the team on homeowner communication, needs assessment, product presentation, objection handling, and closing
  • Review estimates and project scopes to improve accuracy, profitability, and customer experience
  • Establish clear expectations for performance, follow-up, documentation, and accountability
  • Conduct regular coaching sessions, team meetings, and performance reviews
  • Identify skill gaps and provide practical training to improve individual and team results
  • Partner with sales and operations leadership to support smooth project handoffs and successful installations
  • Build a knowledgeable, accountable, and customer-focused siding sales team
Schedule and Availability
  • Full-time position with a flexible schedule
  • Sales appointments are scheduled up to one month in advance
  • Monthly availability submission is required
  • A minimum of two Saturday appointment slots per month is required
  • Field availability is expected for team training, appointment support, and project coaching
Qualifications
  • Three or more years of successful professional sales experience
  • Siding sales, installation, estimating, or exterior remodeling experience required
  • Strong working knowledge of siding products, project requirements, and accurate job scoping
  • Previous experience training, mentoring, or coaching sales professionals
  • Demonstrated success in commission-based or performance-driven sales
  • Proven ability to conduct in-home presentations and close business
  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to provide constructive feedback and hold team members accountable
  • Highly organized, self-directed, dependable, and results-oriented
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and other sales technology
  • Able to safely use ladders and inspect exterior project conditions
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check
