Job description

Job Title: Customer Service Associate (5799)

Duration: 3 Months
Location: Springdale, AR 72762 [Candidate must be able to work onsite.]

Schedule: 40 hr work week
Shift: 3rd shift, Wed-Thurs-Fri, every other Saturday, 8 pm – 8 am. Training will be Mon-Fri, 07:30 am - 04:30 pm for at least 3 weeks.


Job Description: SUMMARY:

The Customer Service Associate (CSA) is primarily responsible for managing the relationship between the carrier, customer, and sales groups for assigned accounts. The CSA achieves this by developing an in-depth understanding of the customer’s organization, product needs, processes, and procedures, and by collaborating with the Sales team to deliver the highest level of customer service.


FULL DESCRIPTION:

Acts as the main point of contact between the supply chain and assigned external customers. Responsible for all aspects of the relationship including analyzing incoming communications and providing prompt resolutions. Establishes and maintains positive, effective relationships with key internal contacts. Utilizes several dispatch systems (TES, LME, Four Kites, OTR) and external scheduling systems (Retailix, Retail Link, UNFI, One Network, etc.) to problem-solve across all business units. Maintains knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and software applications. Keeps up to date with external customers’ organizational structures and procedures. Uses available resources to identify cost-effective solutions to best meet customer needs. Identifies and implements creative solutions to resolve issues that impact delivery processes, ensuring accurate product delivery and representing the organization positively.


REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in customer service or transportation/logistics.

Experience: Customer service experience beyond call center required; dispatch experience in transportation/logistics is a plus.

Computer Skills: Proficient with MS Office applications required; majority of communication conducted via email, potentially handling 300+ emails per day.

Communication Skills: Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills; conflict management; ability to multitask; positive attitude; problem-solving and negotiation skills.
