You desire to be a sales leader by delivering value to the customer with continuous order visibility, supply chain efficiency, and customer partnership. This position is a champion of cross collaboration in sales, demand, replenishment, and planning. Leveraging internal and external data sources, you will plan to optimize and grow the business in conjunction with sales by optimizing both existing and new customer relationships. This role will evolve with upward mobility to be a dynamic leader in the sales department.

Core Functions

  • Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement across all customers.
  • Collaborate internally between Sales, Demand, Supply, Replenishment, Insights, and Planning Teams to generate revenue and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Provide reporting and analysis around maximizing stock availability goals while minimizing inventory levels.
  • Be accountable for building and maintaining a collaborative relationship with the Replenishment Team and customers.
  • Develop and implement ongoing reporting and analytical processes to support the sales goals of the business, while balancing supply chain efficiencies.
  • Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues through root-cause analysis and data interpretation.
  • Identify issues and maximize data availability to make recommendations that will benefit both our internal and external partners.
  • Oversee & complete administrative duties required by customer partners (new item forms, etc.)


Skills

  • Monitor inventory positions and gap analysis through consumer consumption with order forecasting with ability to upsell through operational gaps.
  • Build strong relationships with and maintain good communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review inbound sales orders demand and partner with sales and broker teams weekly to improve supply and demand.
  • Utilize internal and external open order, inventory, and 3PL reports to optimize workload.
  • Communicate cross-functionally to understand inventory demands and availability cross-functionally, communicating any issues that affect the requested order quantities of a PO to the buyer.
  • Work closely with Logistics Specialists on filling and shipping orders to customers.
  • Partner with sales and operations to manage supplies and customer prioritizations by region, by sub-category, by SKU to improve overall margins and efficiencies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of supply chain, sales, and promotional concepts
  • Experience with databases such as Retail Link, Kroger 84.51, KeHe Connect, and other industry inventory systems.
  • Sales experience desired
  • Production, Logistics, or Warehousing related work experience is a plus.
