• Conduct thorough crisis assessments during emergency calls and client encounters to ascertain the severity and immediacy of mental health needs.
• Implement crisis interventions to stabilize individuals in distress and provide immediate counseling services to those requiring urgent support.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services to ensure client safety during crisis situations.
• Develop personalized crisis intervention plans and coordinate follow-up care recommendations to support ongoing recovery efforts.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and de-escalation techniques during high-tension situations to promote safety and calm.
• Engage in continuous professional development opportunities to enhance your skills in crisis counseling and trauma-informed approaches.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing acute mental health crises, including those struggling with substance misuse, trauma, emotional disturbances, and suicidal ideation. Your ability to empathize and connect with diverse populations is essential, as you will be addressing various cultural backgrounds and sensitivity levels in your counseling approach.

• A master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience providing crisis intervention and mental health counseling.
• Specialized training in crisis counseling and trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively build rapport with clients in distress.
• Proficient understanding of ethical and legal standards related to mental health counseling.

• Hands-on experience working with individuals facing mental health emergencies, particularly in remote or virtual settings.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities focused on addiction treatment and crisis management.
• Experience integrating digital health tools and platforms for effective client engagement and monitoring.

We are pleased to offer an attractive salary range of USD 70,000 – 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skills.
