Reconnect Mental Health Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team. In this full-time remote role, you will play a crucial part in providing crisis intervention services and support to individuals grappling with addiction and other mental health crises. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services to ensure client safety during crisis situations.

  • Utilize evidence-based interventions and de-escalation techniques during high-tension situations to promote safety and calm.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing acute mental health crises, including those struggling with substance misuse, trauma, emotional disturbances, and suicidal ideation. Your ability to empathize and connect with diverse populations is essential, as you will be addressing various cultural backgrounds and sensitivity levels in your counseling approach.

Qualifications
  • A masterโ€™s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience providing crisis intervention and mental health counseling.
  • Specialized training in crisis counseling and trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively build rapport with clients in distress.
  • Proficient understanding of ethical and legal standards related to mental health counseling.
Preferred Experience
  • Hands-on experience working with individuals facing mental health emergencies, particularly in remote or virtual settings.

Compensation and Benefits

We are pleased to offer an attractive salary range of USD 70,000 โ€“ 95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skills.
