This position is fully remote, allowing you to create a work-life balance that fits your lifestyle while still being deeply involved in the mental health community. While working from home, you will be provided with the tools necessary to facilitate virtual therapy sessions effectively. Our remote setting encourages flexibility in scheduling, primarily adhering to a Monday through Friday work week from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some adaptability required based on patient needs.

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, utilizing evidence-based practices to develop personalized and actionable treatment plans tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
• Implement various therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address diverse mental health issues.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in adherence to HIPAA regulations and ensure all documentation is up to date to meet compliance standards.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team composed of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to deliver holistic care.
• Engage in ongoing case consultations and participate in peer review meetings to collectively enhance the quality and efficacy of our treatment services.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health conditions and community resources available to aid their recovery.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health to continuously improve practice standards and patient outcomes.

You will work with a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to adults, each facing unique challenges related to mental health. Your role will focus on providing empathetic and culturally competent care to clients, continually assessing their needs and adjusting treatment approaches accordingly. This dynamic engagement not only fosters trust but also motivates clients on the journey to recovery.

• A Master’s degree or doctorate in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas is essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients and team members.
• A strong understanding of solution-based psychotherapy interventions, equipped to customize therapeutic methods for individual client needs.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex clinical situations and develop efficient treatment strategies.
• A commitment to professional growth and adaptability within a collaborative team environment.

• Previous experience in a similar mental health counseling role, particularly within a community health or crisis intervention setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and patient management.
• Experience in group therapy settings or facilitating workshops on mental health topics is beneficial.
