Relationship Manager
Location: Jersey City,NJ, United States (Hybrid)

Computershare Investor Services is the division within Computershare responsible for providing Transfer Agent Services to Corporate clients as well as their shareholders.
The Relationship Manager role operates within this division by managing an assigned book of business with an emphasis on Foreign Private Issuers. The type of clients assigned are based on the Relationship Manager's experience. . Relationship Managers at "entry" level will have clients with a revenue range of up to USD 750K and more experienced Relationship Managers will have clients with a revenue range of up to USD 2 million.
The Relationship Manager role is expected to work collaboratively across business lines throughout the organization to deliver a diverse product solution to the client.
A role you will love
The Relationship Manager is the primary contact between Computershare Investor Services clients and Shareholder Services. Basic Relationship Manager responsibilities include ensuring that clients receive the services they have purchased and that those services are delivered in a manner that meets and exceeds the clients' expectations. The Relationship Manager also coordinates all major client activities and services by engaging with the client, with Computershare operational units and the entire organization as needed. In collaboration with the Sales team, the Relationship Manager coordinates cross sells or up sells by introducing clients to additional Computershare products and services.
Other key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, managing a portfolio aligned with experience
  • Support client needs including special projects, transactions, and account servicing
  • Ensure accurate communication and execution of service requests
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve issues, coordinating with internal teams
  • Maintain knowledge of systems, processes, products, and industry/regulatory changes
  • Communicate updates, enhancements, and potential impacts to clients
  • Identify and support cross-sell/upsell opportunities in collaboration with Sales
  • Maintain accurate client records and oversee account reconciliations
  • Lead client reviews, strategic planning, and shareholder meeting coordination
  • Monitor revenue, invoicing, funding, and receivables to mitigate financial risk
  • Collaborate with internal teams on contract renewals and service improvements
  • Attend client meetings, training sessions, and industry-related activities
  • Share client feedback internally to drive service enhancements
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

What will you bring to the role?
Functional Knowledge
Broad understanding of products, systems, industry trends, and client needs, gained through training and experience; prior client-facing experience preferred.
Business Experience
Strong understanding of team collaboration and business operations, with knowledge of products and services supporting client growth, particularly in the International/FPI space.
Leadership Skills
No direct reports; responsible for building client relationships and contributing to projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Problem Solving
Applies strong attention to detail and judgment to resolve client issues using established policies, procedures, and technical knowledge.
Impact
Directly influences client relationships and service quality; manages a portfolio (up to ~$2M revenue) to ensure satisfaction and growth.
Interpersonal Skills
Excellent communication and relationship management skills; able to handle complex queries and sensitive situations with professionalism.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years' relevant experience or equivalent
  • Experience with international clients and additional language skills preferred

Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is USD $78,000 - $100,000. This salary is specific to the Jersey City, NJ and a direct currency conversion will not be representative of salaries in our other global locations. For salaries in other countries please reach out to the talent acquisition partner recruiting for this role.
