The New Washington State Bank is looking for a talented Relationship Office Manager to add to our retail team. This position will be responsible for the leadership, management, and development of the Relationship Banker Team. They will direct the work of staff to effectively identify the financial needs of our customers within our target market and ensure customers receive quality service so that the banks name and reputation continues to flourish. This position will assist the Relationship Development Officer in running the branch.
Entry level management position! Prior bank experience required!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the branch.
  • Supervise staff and provide additional support such as running a window, assisting with difficult customers, running branch capture, opening customer accounts, approving transactions, completing holds notices, answering the phone, opening and closing of the branch etc.
  • Evaluate performance of staff to ensure they are efficiently servicing our customers, meeting the branchs objectives, and provide guidance/training when needed. Help staff develop and grow within the bank.
  • Services customers by opening accounts, cross-selling products, making referrals, and meeting their consumer lending needs.
  • Originate and process loan files, contact clients, send follow up emails, and post loan closing files.
  • Responsible for month end branch reports and create and review the schedule.
  • Deliver quality customer service by providing timely and proper responses to all reasonable customer request and communicating any delays.
  • Ensure that staff perform their job duties in a safe, compliant manner taking all reasonable precautions. Hold regular and frequent compliance discussions and meetings to continually reinforce the security message.

  • Understand and maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding all aspects of The New Washington State Bank.
  • Ability to take initiative and utilize sound judgment in decision-making and diplomacy and tact in problem resolution weighing customer satisfaction issues with Bank exposure to loss or fraud.
Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree is preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Prior banking experience required
  • Prior management experience is preferred
