Description:

The Refrigeration Designer supports the design and documentation of high-quality refrigeration systems by leveraging technical knowledge and precision drafting skills. This role contributes to all phases of project development, from design through construction administration, in collaboration with refrigeration engineers, project designers, and other disciplines. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to grow technically while upholding our core values of Family, Service, and Trust.


Design & Documentation Support

  • Develop detailed refrigeration system drawings and documentation in compliance with project and code requirements.
  • Accurately size and lay out all aspects of refrigeration systems on floor plans, schedules, and details.
  • Perform refrigeration load, energy, and refrigerant charge calculations and assist in refrigeration control design.
  • Create complete, coordinated drawing sets in Revit, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with internal drafting standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with other disciplines, including structural, electrical, and architectural teams, to ensure design coordination and constructability.
  • Maintain organized design files and ensure design deliverables are accurate and complete.

Construction Administration & Field Support

  • Participate in construction administration tasks, including shop drawing reviews, RFI responses, site inspections, and field reports.
  • Conduct work site visits to review project completion, track construction issues, and verify installations.
  • Evaluate existing systems and provide input on upgrades or modifications.

Professional Engagement

  • Maintain reliable and consistent work hours and professional appearance.
