Job description

Entry-Level Automotive Sales Consultant – $500/Week + Commission

AUTOWEST OF PLAINWELL IS HIRING 2 NEW SALES PROFESSIONALS

No automotive sales experience? That may actually be a good thing.

We’re looking for two motivated people who want an opportunity to learn the car business, build a career, and earn more based on their performance.

You do not need previous dealership experience.

You do not need to know everything about cars.

We can teach you the business.

What we’re looking for is something harder to teach:

Personality. Energy. Work ethic. Confidence. And the desire to succeed.

If you’ve ever thought, “I know I could make more money if somebody would just give me the opportunity,” this may be it.

WHAT WE OFFER

$500 PER WEEK GUARANTEED SALARY

PLUS COMMISSION

PERFORMANCE BONUSES & INCENTIVES

DEMO VEHICLE OPPORTUNITY

PAID TRAINING

401(k)

DENTAL BENEFITS

VISION BENEFITS

ACTIVE PAY / EARLY WAGE ACCESS

EMPLOYEE VEHICLE PURCHASE OPPORTUNITIES

REAL OPPORTUNITY TO ADVANCE

MANAGEMENT SUPPORT & TRAINING

This is not a commission-only position.

You’ll have the security of a guaranteed weekly salary while you learn the business, with the ability to earn more as your skills and sales grow.

WANT A JOB WHERE WORKING HARDER CAN ACTUALLY CHANGE YOUR PAYCHECK?

That’s one of the biggest differences in automotive sales.

Learn more.

Get better.

Build customers.

Sell more.

Earn more.

We want to give the right two people the opportunity to build a career instead of simply finding another job.

YOU MAY ALREADY HAVE THE SKILLS WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Some of the best salespeople come from completely different industries.

We’d love to talk with you if you have experience in:

  • Restaurants or bartending
  • Retail
  • Cell phone or electronics sales
  • Furniture sales
  • Hospitality
  • Customer service
  • Banking
  • Insurance
  • Fitness
  • Construction
  • Delivery
  • Management
  • Or any position where you regularly work with people

You don't have to be a “car person.”

You need to be a people person.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We want someone who:

Enjoys talking with people

Has a positive personality

Wants to make money

Shows up and is dependable

Is comfortable using a phone and texting

Understands social media

Can follow up with customers

Is willing to learn

Can take coaching and improve

Is competitive

Wants more out of their career

Isn't afraid to work for what they want

If you're looking for a job where you can hide in the corner and wait for the day to end, this probably isn't the right fit.

But if you're thinking:

“JUST GIVE ME THE OPPORTUNITY AND I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT I CAN DO.”

We want to meet you.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Don't worry — we're going to train you.

You'll learn how to:

  • Help customers find the right vehicle
  • Respond to internet and online leads
  • Follow up with customers by phone and text
  • Demonstrate vehicles
  • Conduct test drives
  • Build relationships with customers
  • Generate repeat and referral business
  • Use social media to create opportunities
  • Learn our inventory
  • Work with management to put deals together
  • Build your own customer base

Our goal isn't to throw you onto the sales floor and tell you, “Good luck.”

Our goal is to develop you.

WE'RE SELECTING TWO PEOPLE

We're looking for two entry-level sales professionals to join Autowest of Plainwell.

We're willing to invest the time and training into the right people.

You bring:

The attitude.
The effort.
The personality.
The willingness to learn.

We'll teach you the rest.

YOUR NEXT CAREER COULD START HERE

You don't need years of experience.

You don't need a perfect resume.

You don't need to have sold cars before.

You just need an opportunity.

$500/week guaranteed salary.

Plus commission.

Plus bonuses.

Demo vehicle opportunity.

Benefits.

Training.

Room to grow.

And most importantly:

The opportunity to build an income and career based on what YOU put into it.

APPLY TODAY

We're hiring two people, and we'd rather find the right attitude and train someone from the ground up than simply hire another experienced salesperson who wants to do things the same old way.

If you're motivated, dependable, good with people, and ready to see what you're capable of...

APPLY TODAY.
