About this Role

PAR Electrical Contractors, LLCย is seeking a Project Manager I (Substation) to support substation construction and maintenance projects across our service areas. This is an entry-level position designed for a motivated college graduate who is ready to learn, travel, and grow within the utility construction industry.

The Project Manager I will work closely with experienced project managers, field supervisors, engineers, and clients to help plan, coordinate, and execute substation projects safely, on time, and within budget. This role offers hands-on exposure, training, and mentorship to build a strong foundation in project management.

Salary Range: $85,000 - 115,000, based on experience and qualifications.

What You'll Do

As a Project Manager I, you will support the full life-cycleย of substation projects by:

  • Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities
  • Supporting budget tracking, cost control, and basic financial reporting
  • Coordinating materials, equipment, and subcontractor needs
  • Communicating with internal teams, field crews, vendors, and clients
  • Supporting job site documentation, reporting, and record-keeping
  • Assisting with safety compliance, quality control, and company procedures
  • Traveling to project sites as needed to support field operations
  • Learning industry standards, substation construction practices, and project controls
  • Taking on increasing responsibility as skills and experience grow
