CANUSA EPC LLC is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager I to lead the successful execution of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects within the upstream, midstream, and industrial oil & gas sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a background in mechanical, chemical, civil, or electrical engineering, along with demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary EPC projects.

The ideal candidate will haveย 5โ€“10 yearsย of experience inย engineering and projectย management roles supportingย oil & gas facilities, pipelines, compression, gas processing, andย related infrastructureย projects. The Projectย Manager I willย be responsible forย leading projects throughย all phases ofย execution including engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioningย support, and projectย closeout while servingย as the primaryย point of contactย for clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internalย project teams.

The Project Managerย I is responsibleย for planning, budgeting,ย forecasting, documenting, and overseeing theย successful execution ofย EPC projects whileย ensuring project objectivesย related to safety, quality, schedule, scope, andย profitability are achieved. This role requiresย strong leadership, commercialย awareness, technical understanding, and the abilityย to coordinate multidisciplinaryย engineering, procurement, construction, automation, and operations teams.


This position will also serve as a client-facing representative of CANUSA EPC LLC, supporting business development activities, maintaining existing client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and preparing proposals and estimates for future work. The Project Manager I may be required to travel to customer sites, project locations, fabrication facilities, construction sites, industry events, and client meetings throughout the United States and Canada



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate effectivelyย with Clients, Vendors, Contractors, and Projectย Stakeholders
  • Develop and executeย Project Execution Plans, Work Breakdown Structures, Risk Registers, andย Project Documentation
  • Plan, oversee, andย manage Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, and Commissioningย activities
  • Manage project scope, budget, schedule, quality, and overall financialย performance
  • Develop and maintainย project schedules usingย Microsoftย Project or equivalentย scheduling software
  • Develop TIC estimates, project forecasts, cashย flow projections, andย project performance reports
  • Lead multidisciplinary engineeringย teamsย to ensure timelyย completion of projectย deliverables
  • Manage procurement activitiesย including bid evaluations, vendorย selection, purchase orders, equipment expediting,ย logistics, and vendorย performance
  • Coordinate fabrication activitiesย and monitor supplierย progress to ensureย project scheduleย compliance
  • Oversee construction planning, contractor coordination, field execution, andย project turnover

  • Review and approveย Piping & Instrumentationย Diagrams (P&IDs), Plot Plans, Equipmentย Layouts, and engineeringย designย packages
  • Generate and evaluateย specifications for pipingย systems, rotating equipment, compression equipment,ย process equipment, instrumentation, and packaged equipment
  • Review vendor drawings, equipment submittals,ย and technical documentation
  • Monitor vendor engineeringย progress and ensureย compliance with projectย specifications
  • Coordinate engineering disciplinesย throughoutย detailed design
  • Support equipment procurementย activities including technicalย bid evaluations
  • Conduct constructabilityย reviews and fieldย walkdowns
