Futures Recruiting Coordinator Job Description: HITT Contracting is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to support our campus recruiting team and help drive a consistent, high-quality experience for early career talent across the business. This role is based on site in our Falls Church, VA headquarters. As HITT continues to grow across markets and invest in the next generation of construction leaders, our Futures Program plays a critical role in building a sustainable pipeline of early career talent through our internship program and entry-level Project Engineer and Site Engineer hiring. This position is a key investment in strengthening the operational foundation of our early career recruiting efforts by ensuring recruiting processes run smoothly, university recruiting initiatives are executed with consistency, and candidates have an exceptional experience. The Recruiting Coordinator will provide centralized support for the Futures Program team, partnering closely with recruiters, hiring managers, university partners, and business leaders across our 16 offices nationwide. This role is responsible for coordinating recruiting activities, supporting campus engagement initiatives, maintaining recruiting systems and reporting, and executing programs that strengthen HITT's early career talent pipeline. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and service-oriented, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You take pride in execution, anticipate needs before they arise, and bring a thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach to supporting candidates, university partners, and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities Candidate Experience & Recruiting Coordination Coordinate and schedule interviews for internship, Project Engineer, and Site Engineer candidates across multiple offices, time zones, and hiring managers Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the interview process, ensuring a professional, timely, and engaging experience Manage interview logistics, including calendars, interview materials, and candidate communications Coordinate offer process activities, including documentation, onboarding pass off, and system updates Ensure clear communication and alignment between candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and Futures Program stakeholders Campus Engagement & Program Support Help coordinate logistics for career fairs, information sessions, networking events, office visits, classroom presentations, and other university recruiting activities Maintain recruiting calendars, campus contacts, event registrations, and annual recruiting schedules Partner with recruiters to support relationships with target schools, career centers, faculty, and student organizations Coordinate recruiting materials, promotional items, branded merchandise, and event resources Support planning and execution of internship recruiting, early career hiring initiatives, and Futures Program events Recruiting Operations & Analytics Maintain accurate candidate data and activity tracking within the applicant tracking system (Workday) Support the creation, opening, and maintenance of requisitions in Workday Maintain recruiting templates, interview guides, communications, and program resources Prepare recurring reports on pipeline activity, hiring progress, event participation, internship conversion, and university engagement Support ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from Recruiting and HR leadership Help ensure adherence to recruiting processes, compliance requirements, and data integrity standards Innovation & Continuous Improvement Research emerging trends in university recruiting, candidate engagement, recruiting technology, and employer branding to identify opportunities for the Futures Program Recommend ideas that enhance recruiting operations, strengthen HITT's employer brand, and create meaningful experiences for early career talent Partner with Recruiting leaders and Marketing to support campus recruiting campaigns Gather candidate feedback and recruiting insights to evaluate recruiting events and identify opportunities for continuous improvement Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred 2+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, university recruiting, HR, recruiting operations, event coordination, project coordination, or administrative support Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy and efficiency Experience coordinating events, career fairs, or large-scale initiatives preferred Experience working with data, reporting, or metrics tracking preferred Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data sets and reports Experience with an applicant tracking system required with Workday experience strongly preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service mindset Curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to enhance recruiting operations and candidate engagement High level of professionalism, discretion, and follow-through Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving High level of professionalism, discretion, and follow-through In accordance with Virginia Senate Bill 215 (SB 215), the base salary range for this position is: $67,000.00 - $87,000.00 Compensation in other cities and states may vary. HITT Contracting offers a competitive total benefits and compensation package including performance-based bonuses, premium health care coverage including vision and dental, employer-matched 401(k), wellness reimbursement program, paid holidays and time-off, and other voluntary benefits and leave types.
