Basic Function
The Associate Project Analyst supports Cost Segregation, R&D, Energy, Sales, and Finance teams by assisting in the preparation of Benefit Analyses (“BAs”) and Letters of Engagement (“LOEs”). This role focuses on gathering and reviewing real estate data, validating project scope, and supporting pricing efforts to ensure accuracy, alignment, and efficient project execution.
Position’s Intention
This role contributes to the development of client-facing Benefit Analyses by supporting pricing rationale and scope validation, while building foundational knowledge to ensure financial feasibility, operational efficiency, and client acceptance.

- Benefit Analyses and Letters of Engagement are completed accurately and within expected turnaround timelines
- Tasks and responsibilities are executed reliably and consistently
- Demonstrates continuous learning and increased competency over time
- Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline processes
Essential Duties
- Assist in determining and setting competitive pricing for cost segregation studies based on project scope and available information
- Estimate projected tax deductions associated with cost segregation studies
- Support validation of project scope to ensure alignment with engineering requirements and study accuracy
- Prepare Benefit Analyses (“BAs”) and Letters of Engagement (“LOEs”) for Sales once pricing is approved
- Complete assigned BA and LOE requests within expected 24-hour turnaround timelines when sufficient information is available
- Gather, review, and organize project-related documentation, including real estate and construction data
- Seek guidance from senior team members on complex analyses and continue skill development
- Collaborate with Project Analysts to improve workflows, productivity, and data accuracy
- Consult with Lead Engineers when clarification is needed regarding scope or documentation
- Assist with special projects and provide support in training initiatives as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Certification/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field) or equivalent experience considered
- Entry-level or early career experience in finance, analysis, or related field
Language & Communication Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with managers, directors, and cross-functional teams
Reasoning & Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to evaluate data and make sound judgments with incomplete information
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Computer/Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with PDF editing tools
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Zoho preferred)
