About the Role

The Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack will join a factory-focused software platform team and contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including concept development, technical trade studies, architecture, design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing improvement.

You will develop applications used to:

  • Plan and schedule purchasing and manufacturing activities
  • Support factory and production operations
  • Access and analyze component and systems test data
  • Provide engineers, technicians, and operators with critical internal tools
  • Automate workflows and improve operational decision-making

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications and services
  • Partner directly with engineers, operators, manufacturing teams, and other non-software stakeholders to define system requirements
  • Translate complex operational problems into practical and scalable software solutions
  • Build responsive, high-performance front-end applications
  • Develop and integrate backend services, APIs, databases, and data pipelines
  • Participate in architecture and technical design decisions
  • Follow agile software development practices
  • Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code
  • Support continuous integration and continuous deployment processes
  • Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to the growth of the broader software team

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Seven or more years of professional software engineering experience
  • Demonstrated experience building, shipping, and iterating on multiple applications and services
  • Strong full-stack software development experience
  • Expert-level experience with React and modern front-end development tools
  • Experience designing software in collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, operations, or other non-software stakeholders
  • Ability to evaluate complex problems and develop straightforward, effective solutions
  • Strong programming fundamentals and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Experience mentoring and supporting the development of other engineers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing and scaling service architectures that support high-performance front-end applications
  • Experience with systems-level programming concepts, including concurrency, synchronization primitives, and memory management
  • Experience developing low-latency or safety-critical user interfaces
  • Experience building software for manufacturing, aerospace, robotics, industrial automation, hardware engineering, or other complex technical environments
  • Experience developing and debugging software within large, multi-platform codebases
  • Experience working with cloud and on-premises Kubernetes environments
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and modern deployment tooling
Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is:

$165,000 to $211,000 per year

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, technical expertise, location, and other job-related factors.

The total rewards package may also include equity, paid time off, sick leave, parental leave, professional development support, and additional employee benefits.
