Dewberry's Parsippany, NJ office is currently seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer - Electric Vehicle (EV) & Telecommunications, who is interested in starting their career in a fast paced and growing industry. Responsibilities
Job entails field data collection, preparation of civil site plans, and coordination of design and schedule with clients and team members. Site designs often include grading, erosion control, stormwater management design, conducting field data collection, preparing Electric Vehicle (EV) & wireless facility designs and coordinating all design aspects with a team, tracking the progress of projects, and construction control and inspection.
Required Skills & Required Experience
  • BS in Civil Engineering is required
  • 0-2 years of experience in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • F.E. preferred with P.E. track expected.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office are required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members & sub consultants
  • Develop technical design documents for leasing, zoning and permitting.
  • Composes technical reports, memorandums and other written communication.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple concurrent projects with varying teams.
  • Interest in adding skill sets outside of civil engineering including project management, geotechnical, electrical, and mechanical.

Salary Range
The projected range for this position is $81,100 - $83,600 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
