Job description

Join Weyerhaeuser Cottage Grove Lumber! We are growing our team and have immediate openings for Entry Level Production positions. We are seeking individuals who are committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a desire to work in a manufacturing environment.  

The entry level starting wage is $25.775 per hour. 

We offer:

  • Excellent wages and benefit package including health and dental benefits for single or family plans with low premiums ranging from $24 – $64 a month, paid vacation, sick, parental leave, disability options, and a 401(k) with a company match

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be able to work in the U.S.

  • Must be able to pass random drug testing, including marijuana

Successful candidates need to be able to:

  • Have 100% commitment to safety rules and polices
  • Take pride in their work, be motivated, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Have good communication
  • Be willing to wear all required PPE (personal protective equipment)
  • Have good attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts
  • Work in a team setting and accept accountability for a team’s results
  • Have one or more years of manufacturing or industrial clean up experience preferred but not required
  • Lift 2-50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, work in extreme temperatures, and in dusty and noisy conditions
