Who We Are


Golden Queen Mining Co., LLC (the "Company") operates a gold and silver, open pit, heap leach operation on its Soledad Mountain property, located just outside the town of Mojave in Kern County in southern California. The Project uses conventional open pit mining methods and the cyanide heap leach and Merrill-Crowe processes to recover gold and silver from crushed, agglomerated ore.

As a Process Operator, you would report to the Merrill-Crowe Process Supervisor. This is a safety sensitive position.


What You Do - Plant

  • Assist with filter presses online/offline.
  • Assist with blowdowns and press cleaning.
  • Assist with solution clarifier cleaning.
  • Assist with precoating presses and clarifiers.
  • Assist with zinc cone adjustments.
  • Assist with retorting of precipitous materials following proper Mercury cleanup practices.
  • Monitor production wells.
  • Monitor plant solution flows and adjust parameters to maintain plant balance.
  • Assist with bringing back-up generator online and switch MCC power over.
  • Complete all work area and equipment inspections.
  • Follow all company policies and safety/environmental regulations.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

What You Do - Heap Leach Pad

  • Assist with a leach pad performing tasks such as, ripping and checking solution lines.
  • Assist with installing side slope emitter lines.
  • Assist with solution header pipe installation.
  • Monitor and maintain all installed off-line emitter lines.
  • Assist with solution line repair and installation.
  • Monitor heap conditions and adjust flow rates.
  • Complete all work area and equipment inspections.
  • Follow all company policies and safety/environmental regulations.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
