A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ENTRY-LEVEL DAY OR NIGHT PROCESS OPERATOR

As a Process Operator, you have a key role in the operation of our production plant from start to finish. You control the process of turning raw material into finished goods. With attention to safety, you start up and shut down the production line as well as maximize efficiency while it is running. You spend a great deal of time monitoring the control panels and various gauges on key equipment at the plant. Regularly sampling and testing for quality, you make process adjustments based on the results. Occasionally, you need to verify that equipment is properly locked out for repairs and perform some preventative maintenance duties such as lubricating machinery. You may also be needed to help the team clean out our air handling or other processing equipment as part of our weekly cleaning schedule. You feel good about keeping production moving efficiently while ensuring the safety of our plant and our people!


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ENTRY-LEVEL PROCESS OPERATOR

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Manufacturing, industrial, or agricultural experience is preferred.
  • Mechanical abilities a big plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge about manufacturing plant processes and equipment are preferred, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration! Are you able to understand a complex process and how everything works together? Are you attentive to safety? Can you effectively prioritize multiple tasks? Are you efficient and detail-oriented? DAY OR NIGHT WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time manufacturing job works Sunday Night starting at 11 pm until 11 pm Friday night + possibly every 3rd weekend as needed when required.
