Blending Operator

Location: Farmingdale, NJ

Employment Type: Full-Time/On Site

Schedule: Mon-Thurs 5:00 AM – 3:15 PM (1st Shift) ; 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM (2nd Shift)

Pay Rate: $17-$18 per hour

About the role

We are currently looking for an Entry Level (Bilingual) Blending Operator to join our team as well as the potential for long-term growth and development opportunities. This is a cross-functional position encompassing but not limited to the compression and blending manufacturing processes. Must be able to keep accurate and detailed records and maintain cleanliness of work area. Must follow standard operating procedures for the manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in gathering, weighing, and preparing raw ingredients for the blending process with accurate labeling

Operate blending equipment under close supervision and follow precise instructions for each batch.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the blending area, ensuring a sanitary work environment.

Verify the accuracy of raw materials’ labels and log relevant data into production systems.

Perform regular cleaning and sanitization of blending equipment and tools.

Follow all safety protocols, including the use of protective gear, to minimize risks in the production environment.

Complete production documentation, including logging weights, batch numbers, and time records accurately.

Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding equipment malfunctions or discrepancies in production processes.

Show a desire and willingness to learn and succeed.

Complete all required training activities.

Demonstrates commitment to the organization by maintaining regular on-site attendance, is reliable and follows through on responsibilities.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Highschool diploma or equivalent

Entry level position, Experience is not required

At least 1 year in manufacturing or production environment a plus
