Job description

Job Title: Entry-Level Machine Operator

Overview:

We are looking for a reliable entry-level candidate to operate cutting machines (automated band saws) in a manufacturing environment. Training will be provided.


Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor machines to cut materials accurately
  • Read a tape measure and work with fractions/decimals to ensure correct cuts
  • Follow work orders and minimize material waste
  • Use basic tools and measuring equipment
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Support general production tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • 6+ months of machine operating or production experience
  • Comfortable with basic math (fractions, measurements, conversions)
  • Good attention to detail and desire to avoid material waste
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
  • Reliable with strong attendance
