ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Creation and preparation:Bake a wide variety of goods, such as cakes, cookies, pies, pastries, and breads, following both traditional and new recipes.
  • Decoration:Decorate desserts with frostings, glazes, and toppings to create visually appealing presentations.
  • Menu development:Contribute ideas for new dishes and create custom desserts.
  • Inventory and ordering:Check and order ingredients and supplies for the pastry section.
  • Kitchen management:Maintain a clean and hygienic work area and manage kitchen staff.
  • Record-keeping:Keep accurate records of food costs and inventory.
