WE NEED YOUR OUTGOING PERSONALITY FOR A JIMMY JOHN'S CATERING SPECIALIST IN Deerfield, Illinois
Job Summary: Would you like a fun job where you get to pass out free sandwiches to local businesses and make people happy? This is an entry level marketing position for an outgoing and energetic person. The goals are to build brand awareness and sales, facilitate execution of catering orders and follow-up with the General Manager. This is accomplished through creative marketing and distributing free samples to local business customers while always maintaining resolute focus on growing the Jimmy John's brand.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Pass out free samples of Jimmy John's sandwiches to local businesses with the store's delivery area. Set up a grid system of the delivery area for sampling/marketing. Drive and record every business name in each and every grid. Create an excel spreadsheet listing each business name for each grid. Set up meetings with potential clients that relate to Jimmy John's catering and delivery. Write a daily report on activity to be sent to your superior at day's end. Follow up with catering customers. Help with store operations when needed to execute a large catering order. Communicate Operator/GM to ensure 100% execution on catering orders. Build a "Book of Business" for each store you have market responsibility. Keep daily records detailing business objectives. Work 9 am - 2 pm Monday thru Friday
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be able to read and write and communicate in English. Must have the ability to run a register and make their own samples for marketing. Position requires bending, reaching, stooping, repetitive motions, cognitive skills, standing and moving about the unit the entire workday. Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation that is your own vehicle, current automobile insurance, and a clean driving record.
Special Requirements:
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.Ability to handle and resolve customer threats and issues. Skills to use a personal computer and various software packages (Word/Excel).Ability to handle stress and high-volume operations.
