We are currently hiring for: Part-Time Every other Weekend/ Every other Holiday 7A-3P, 3P-11P, and 11P-7A positions. *Shift differential eligible for second and third shifts.

What you need:

  1. High School Diploma or Equivalent 
  2. Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificate or willingness to be trained


 What you do:

  1. Assists residents with AM/PM care, ensuring that all residents are clean and well-groomed at all times, Ensures that resident’s nutritional needs are met and offers evening snack to residents.
  2. Provides assistance for general room maintenance to include making and changing of linens, proper care of clothing, maintaining general appearance, empties waste paper baskets in resident rooms. Assists with washing kitchen and bathroom floors, and operates spotting machine for spills. Assists residents with use of personal washer and dryer; Provides personal laundry service as per schedule; Performs necessary tasks to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents.
  3. Documents resident care appropriately, including vital signs (pulse, respirations, blood pressure, pulse ox, height, weight). Maintains other resident records in appropriate manner.
  4. Responds to emergency campus calls with other team member(s); Respond to resident call bells as quickly as possible to meet resident needs.

Luther Acres – located in the charming, historic town of Lititz – is a Continuing Care Retirement Community with a long history of providing excellent care and services. It is part of Luthercare, which is a not-for-profit, faith-based, and mission-driven organization. Luthercare provides a network of services through its full continuum of care with three communities in Lancaster County. Luther Acres is its largest community, with nearly 600 residents living across its independent living cottages and apartments, personal care apartments, and skilled nursing healthcare center.
