We’re currently seeking dedicated Housekeepers for Luther Acres, the Luthercare community in Lititz, PA. We are currently hiring for a Part-Time position (with requirements every 3rd weekend and holiday).

WHAT YOU DO:
As a Housekeeper at Luther Acres, you’re an integral part of ensuring our buildings and workspaces are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained. You’ll do this by performing a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:
- Dust and polish furniture; stock supplies; clean wash basins, tubs, and commodes; empty wastepaper baskets in resident, team member, and client areas, and collect and dispose of garbage in designated areas.
- Perform dry and wet mopping of floors; operate vacuums, carpet extractors, and pressure washers; and clean windows, screens, ceiling lights, walls, and window treatments.
- Clean and prepare residential living spaces in preparation for new residents.
- Assist with laundry operations, which includes operating washers, dryers, irons, and collecting and delivering laundry from and to designated areas.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to thirty (30) pounds frequently
- Ability to push/pull up to fifteen (15) pounds of force frequently
- Ability to perform the functions required to push large carts, handcarts, appliance dollies and vacuum cleaners/carpet extractors.
Preferred Job-Related Experience/Abilities/Education:
- One (1) year of directly related experience
- Basic computer skills

It is part of Luthercare, which is a not-for-profit, faith-based, and mission-driven organization.
